Ugly Christmas Sweater Placemat

Crochet Pattern

The pattern is written to work a 38cm (length) x 29cm (width) placemat (excluding the fringe). Yarn thickness, hook size and tension may affect the overall size.

Materials you will need

• Yarn weight – ColourSpun DK Cotton – See quantities below.
• Hook size – 3.5mm.
• Needle for needle join and sewing in ends.
• Stitch markers.
• 120 x 6mm beads for the fringed tassels. The hole in the bead must be big enough to thread the yarn through (optional).

This is not a step-by-step photo tutorial, the instructions are written with some photos along the way.
