A brand-new blanket adventure inspired by my recent trip to the South Pacific Islands and beautiful Australia.
Come take a walk with me through the rainforest of Cairns and meet me at Kuranda. Take a stroll on a sunset beach and hear the cockatoos calling to you in Wollongong. Explore the coral reef with me on the beautiful island of Lifou.
Over The Coral Sea will have you “packing” your yarn stash for a cruise of stunning stitches and blanket magic. Come join me on another fun-filled, sunshine getaway.

Will I Be Able To Make This?
This is an intermediate pattern, so it does ask a little more of you than a beginner project, but that doesn’t mean it’s only for crochet superheroes. If you’re comfortable with the basics, happy to take your time, and don’t mind learning as you go, you may well surprise yourself.

Why you'll love this
Included in The Prelude is a little flower pattern which will be used to fill the inner gaps between mandalas and also along the outer edges of the blanket, giving you a nice head start before Part 1 releases on the 9th October.
The pattern includes 3 beautiful mandalas, Lifou, Kuranda and Wollongong and is totally adaptable size wise. Use 1 mandala design or 2 or all 3. Giving you the ability to really customize your blankie to your liking if you’ve already purchased the Coral Coast Collection you can get a little head start on making mandalas. All components of the blanket are crocheted, no stitching involved, other than ends.

Over the Coral Sea is available for $7 for the duration of the CAL (25th September to 27th November), thereafter the price will be $10.
- PART 1 – Friday 9th October
- PART 2 – Friday 16th October
- PART 3 – Friday 23rd October
There will be 2 weeks between the release of Part 3 and 4. This will give you time to make any additional Mandalas that you need for your blanket. - PART 4 – Friday 6th November
- PART 5 – Friday 13th November
- PART 6 – Friday 20th November
- PART 7 – Friday 27th November
