And so Nymphaea was born
Both of the designs were born as completely different patterns and were never supposed to be released. Holly started out as a mystery pattern that was designed for Fly By The Seat Of Your Pants, which is an annual make-a-long I run only in my Facebook group.
Ivy was also originally born for Fly By The Seat Of Your Pants and started out as the as The Figgy Pudding Mandala.
But sometimes something has a need to turn into something else and these two little designs just screamed blanket at me. And so Nymphaea was born.
I must give thanks to the fabulous Jane from Janie Crowe designs for allowing me to be inspired by her beautiful work. If you have not yet found her, go looking, her designs are truly gorgeous.
