Dancing Dandelions
A lovely excuse to play with colour
Dancing Dandelions is a fun, easy crochet project that works up into a beautifully textured rug, perfect for adding a handmade touch to a bathroom, bedroom or cosy corner of your home. The pattern is written in US terminology and is rated Easy, although it does not include detailed photo tutorials. The original rug measures approximately 130cm and was made using Ice Yarn Ribbon with an 8mm hook, but regular T-shirt yarn works beautifully too. You can also use a finer-weight yarn to transform the design into a table topper, doily or decorative mandala.

Why you'll love this
Dancing Dandelions has that lovely mix of texture, movement and just enough detail to keep things interesting without making it hard work. It’s a wonderfully versatile design too – make it bold and chunky as a rug, or switch to a finer yarn for a delicate table topper, doily or mandala. A relaxed, feel-good project with plenty of room to play with colour and make it completely your own.
